Warranties
At Ridgecap Roofing, every roof we install is backed by strong warranty protection designed to give homeowners long-term confidence. We stand behind both our workmanship and the materials we use, ensuring your investment is protected for years to come. METAL ROOFING WARRANTY Our metal roofing systems come with a Lifetime Workmanship Warranty, meaning we stand behind the quality of our installation for as long as you own your home. If a leak or issue is caused by our workmanship, we will repair it at no cost to you. All metal roofing systems are installed to Florida Building Code and manufacturer specifications and are designed specifically for South Florida's wind, heat, and storm conditions. To further protect your roof, we include a Complimentary 1-Year Performance Assurance Inspection. This inspection covers flashings, penetrations, drainage, attachment integrity, and overall system performance. If any workmanship-related adjustments are needed, they are addressed promptly at no charge. For exposed fastener (screw-down) metal roofing systems, we also provide a 1-Year Screw Down Inspection. This includes checking fastener torque and seating, making adjustments for normal thermal movement, and ensuring long-term watertight performance. SHINGLE ROOFING WARRANTY For shingle roofing systems, Ridgecap Roofing installs materials backed by CertainTeed manufacturer warranties, which include strong protection against manufacturing defects and early-life issues. All qualifying shingles include SureStart™ protection, which provides enhanced non-prorated coverage during the early years after installation. During this period, manufacturer defects are repaired or replaced at no cost under CertainTeed's terms. In many cases, when installed as part of a qualifying roofing system, homeowners may also receive extended SureStart™ PLUS coverage, which can extend protection for up to 50 years depending on the product and installation requirements. This extended coverage provides stronger long-term protection compared to standard warranties. After the initial SureStart period, shingles remain covered under a prorated manufacturer warranty for defects, with coverage varying by product type and ownership classification. CertainTeed's warranty ensures continued protection against qualifying manufacturing defects throughout the life of the roof, under their stated terms and conditions.
